Representing the next-generation of an incredibly popular line of guitar amps, the BOSS Katana 50 Gen 3 offers sublime sonic flexibility and quality of sound to match. This compact, 50W combo has been armed with a custom 12-inch speaker and features the latest Tube Logic technology for even richer tone and an improved response compared to its predecessors. With six amp models and five effect sections for a total of fifteen effects, this third-gen Katana gives guitarists ample options during gigs, rehearsals, recording and practice sessions.
The Katana 50 Gen 3: Improved Tone Studio App
The Katana 50 Gen 3 not only sets you up with four Tone Settings for saving and recalling your favourite amp-and-effect settings, but is supported by the improved BOSS Tone Studio app. This smart widget makes editing the various sounds and effects as smooth and streamlined as can be while offering access to 60 high-quality effects, in-depth editing tools including three Cabinet Resonance settings, multiple EQ settings, and more.
Power Control & Power Amp Input
BOSS has also equipped the newest Katana Series amps with a Power Control, which makes sure that the sound and response remain fully intact when you turn down the output capacity for smaller gigs, rehearsal and practice sessions. In addition, you're looking at a Power Amp input for hooking up preamps, modellers and multi-effect units; a USB port for recording directly to a computer or mobile device, and the option to connect a Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adapter for wireless backing track streaming and eased editing from the comfort of your phone.

Fantastische kwaliteit. Doet alles wat je kan verzinnen. Prijs meer dan waard
Het is een goed afgewerkte behuizing. De bediening is intuïtief en de functies veelzijdig. Op de stand acoustic klinkt mijn ovation western gitaar kraakhelder en ook bij de andere versterker modeling standen zoals pushed, crunch of brown klinkt het ondanks de distortion wel nog helder en wordt t niet fuzzy. Voor thuis handig dat je het verborgen niet alleen op heel en half maar ook op 0,5 W kunt zetten. Het is veel functies en mooi geluid voor je geld
Super! Goede kwaliteit voor wat je betaalt.
Ik zocht een versterker voor de oefenruimte alsmede voor optredens. In de winkel werd ik prima geholpen en mocht verschillende versterkers uitproberen. Ik had mijn eigen gitaar meegenomen zodat ik goed kon horen wat ik wilde horen.
Op aanraden probeerde ik deze Katana 50 en was aangenaam verrast. Clean klinkt heel volwassen en vol van geluid. Met de blues-duster klinkt ie echt geweldig. Ik was dan ook gelijk verkocht.
Als je dan de prijs vergelijkt en andere (bv buizenbakken) versterkers is dit eigenlijk een wereld deal.
En nu een maand later ben ik nog steeds enorm enthousiast over deze versterker.

Bestelling en levering gingen soepel! De versterker zelf voldoet ruim aan de verwachtingen. Tot nu toe nog maar paar uurtjes op kunnen spelen maar een mooi gebalanceerd geluid. De optie om op 0.5 of 25 of 50 watt output zeker een fijne optie. Nu eerst de settings via de versterker zelf eens goed uitproberen voordat ik aan de slag ga met Boss Tone Studio, misschien daarna ook de Bluetooth optie maar aanschaffen. En ja, die Pushed setting klinkt erg lekker!

Mooie versterker met een prima geluid. Ik heb de helft van alle mogelijkheden nog niet ontdekt, maar na een paar keer spelen en proberen met verschillende instellingen, valt het me niet tegen.
